Name: Nishikiyama ‘Nishiki’

Personality: Nishikiyama is one of the top students of Yasogami Inaba; despite his hatred of studying and school in general. This stems from his mother forcing him to be this star student image for her late husband. Although Nishiki loves his mother and misses his father, he secretly hates his mother for constantly forcing him to be someone he’s not and now there’s an invisible wall between them. Because of his mother’s perfect image, he had to drop sports altogether adding to his frustration directed to his mother, though he’ll never confront her on the issue on any level.
In school, Nishikiyama is an introverted student who mostly keeps to himself and to his studies and normally wouldn’t strike up conversation with anyone in favor of studying, though he is known to be exceptionally rude and impolite. His devote studying is only because he doesn’t want to let down his mother nor his late father. But in reality, he just wants to quit his studies and just be himself though he doesn’t have the courage to break his mother’s perfect image of him. He tried to send a message when he dyed his hair white, though his mother found nothing wrong with it and the attempt totally failed so now he’s decided that he should just stop trying to convince his mother otherwise.
Though he has found a way to break this image without his mom finding out by becoming the Delinquent Hunter (a title that was given to him and he thinks it’s a retarded title) and finds delinquents to fight and beat up to give him a sense of freedom since he’s chosen to do this and it had nothing to do with school at all. His past experiences in sports and other hands on jobs have given him an unusual strength that comes in handy when he beats the tar out of delinquents.
Nishiki claims to himself that he could make friends if he wanted to, but he just doesn’t have the time to make friends, which is a lie. Despite being outgoing before this change, Nishiki feels that he’s lost touch with his former self and no longer knows how to interact with other people his age and feels separated while in school. Also, Nishiki knows how to sew as taught by his mother and unlike some people, he has no problem hiding this because he doesn’t have to deal with explaining it to other people. Perhaps it is because of his cluelessness around girls is why he doesn’t feel ashamed of this hobby. Nishiki doesn’t treat girls any different than he treats guys as he tends to blurt out words that should never be said around girls and whenever they get angry at him for saying something inconsiderate, he’s always wondering why they’re mad at him.
History: Before he became Mr. Perfect Student, Nishiki was an outgoing person who loved to play sports and take on hands-on-jobs, but when his father died in an accident, everything changed. His mother told him that he’ll have to do his best to make his father proud and convinced him to become good in school. He drastically changed in middle school, quitting his sports clubs in order to focus on his studies and whole heartily devoted himself to studying.
But along the lines, he realized that this wasn’t him and tried to explain that to his mother, but she adamantly stated that this is what his father wanted and ended up having a huge argument. Even though he had apologized after the argument a wall was formed between the two. Nishiki continued to be this student until he entered high school and separated himself from the rest of schoolmates most of the time. Then during a fateful day after school in his first year, a group of delinquents chose to bully the ‘glasses nerd’ in school and Nishiki ended up beating them all across the hall ways.
Rather than either finding the event traumatizing or forgetting it completely, Nishiki discovered he actually enjoyed pounding their faces in and would’ve loved to do it again, though it was bad for his reputation of a star student if he had got into fights every day. That’s when he decided to just beat the crap out of them out of school and did so after he can created a costume to hide his identity when he did so. After his first few outings of beating delinquents he discovered he went by the name of The Delinquent Hunter, a name he found utterly ridiculous but couldn’t say anything about it.
As time went on, he graduated his first year of high school and managed to beat up a number of delinquents to a point where he is considered a myth, which Nishiki also finds retarded.
Appearance: Nishiki has shoulder length white dyed hair that he usually ties into a ponytail and hides it in the back of his normal Yasogami High School Uniform. He also wears glasses to hide his ‘scary’ eyes and only serve that purpose. On off days, he wears a black long sleeve button up shirt with a dark blue undershirt while wearing blackish slacks. On summer off days, he wears a blue button up shirt with a Koi on the back while wearing grayish slacks. When he goes on Delinquent Hunting (as they say it) Nishiki dons an entirely different outfit, wearing a greenish robe with black baggy pants, fingerless gloves with red eyes, toeless boot like footwear and wears a headwear that hides his upper face that he made himself with his sewing skills that stands out to attract delinquents and convince everyone that this person was insane to wear such an outfit and is not him.
