Music: Minato is never seen without his MP3 player and blue head phones. He listens to his music whenever he's alone or wants to be and tends to drown out everyone around him when he gets like this. Though unlike his sister, he lets people know when wants to be alone and sometimes even ignores them when he's in a bad mood, even though his expression is always the same most of the damn time. His music library is filled with different kinds of songs, even some from overseas and has trouble remembering all of them.
Cooking: Because of his parents' busy schedule, Minato and Minako would always have to cook themselves their dinner and it only became more important when two siblings had to rely on themselves when their parents died. Minato enjoyed the time he spent with his sister making meals, though he preferred to make the meal instead of desserts.
Sleeping during Boring Lectures: Despite being one of the high ranking students of Gekkoukan, Minato tends to fall asleep during lectures that can't keep his interest and he takes the time to fall sleep and rest his body. It's even more helpful when he's fatigue from a trip to Tartarus the previous night. He's been scolded by Minako for this habit, but he continues to do it anyway.
Personality: A quiet young man that rarely talks, but he only speaks when spoken too. Minato at times seems aloof and tired, probably because of the tasks he takes when goes into Tartarus, or maybe the deaths of his parents at the age of six had scarred him deeply. Either way, Minato maybe quiet, but he is not antisocial in fact he's quite the opposite, as he has many friends all around Tatsumi Port Island, some of those are just people he met somewhere off in Port Island. Although he rarely talks, Minato is easy to talk to, being a great listener rather than being a smooth talker. He knows the dangers that Shadows possess and works hard in stopping them from causing more harm to the citizens of Tatsumi Port Island, while at the same time survives the every day trial of a life of a High Schooler in Gekkoukan High School.
Balancing his school life and his duty as a SEES is quite hard, but Minato still manages to be successful in both, having receive the top score in his grade, joined the Kendo Team and almost won the Regionals, and manages to defeat any Shadows that threaten the city or the ones he comes across in Tartarus. He is also notoriously known for 'hooking up' with the popular Yukari Takeba on his first day in Gekkoukan.
Another thing Minato known for is that he is currently ranked as one of the top students of Gekkoukan and caused many to think how this is possible since he would sleep multiple times through out classes. And their curiosity of the teen only grows when they also find out that he's part of the student council, while also being part of the Kendo club, making think long and hard about how he can manage his time to evenly put effort in all those things.
Minako is a touchy subject for Minato, he has tendencies to be an over protected brother, but he knows that Minako can take care of herself and tries to stay out of her life whenever he's not involved in it, though deep down inside, he misses the times where it was just him and his sister. However he has a huge anger button whenever he sees someone harming Minako in any way, shape, form and becomes Big Brother to intervene in the situation and will most like break the jaw of the stupid male that troubles Minako, on the flip side, if it's a girl that's making trouble with Minako, the only thing he can do is 'appear from nowhere with the death stare' look to them. These situations don't even have to be true, as long as Minato perceives it as so, it is to him. He also has issues with the thought of Minako having a boy-friend that can completely flip his usual stoic and aloof appearance to paranoid and other wise insane older brother. (SO BEWARE AKIHIKO.)
History: Unlike most kids, Minato lost his parents at the age of 6. After his parents deaths he and his sister, Minako Arisato, traveled to a number of relative's homes, the only one he had was his sister. Wherever the two siblings when they had each other to rely on and would never allow anything to happen to the other. For many years Minato and Minako continue to move to different guardians and constantly having to make friends and then depart from them, something Minato has grown accustomed to and because of that he's normally closed off to everyone but his sister.
At the age of 17, he and his sister retured to Tatsumi Port Island. His first night there was strange to say the least as any electrical device malfunctioned, water turned blood red, and coffins filled the streets. Upon reaching the dorm, he had a even stranger greeting, having met two of the dorm's inhabitants, Yukari Takeba and Mitsuru Kirijo, Minato finally settled into his life at Tatsumi. Though his life was total turned inside out when learned of the Dark Hour.
Having the 'potential' Minato was approached by SEES to join them and their activities in exterminating Shadows. Joining out of his own reason, Minato now fights Shadows to protect the city and those close to him alongside his sister. For various reasons and some unknown to Minato, he and Minako have been appointed Co-Field Leaders for all of SEES ventures into Tartarus.
Appearance: Minato wears his Gekkoukan Uniform most of the time. He also wears a number of different outfits for different occasions, like his school summer wear, his casual winter wear and summer, even a swim trunks.
Evoker: Standard Evoker issued to SEES members.
