Hagakure Ramen: Shinjiro loves Hagakure ramen and eats there occasionally whenever he can. If anything, Shinjiro would always be in a good mood to have a bite at Hagakure.
Teasing Akihiko: Shinjiro likes to poke fun at Akihiko for whatever reason he gets. Whether it's for something completely irrelevant or just because, he'll do it. But deep down beneath all of the teasing and jeers, Shinjiro truly cares for his childhood friend and would risk his life for him.
Cooking:: Although he'll never admit it, Shinjiro loves to cook and is damn good at it. He'll cook whenever he has the chance to do so without anyone witnessing the event. Though he hides this hobby, he'll jump in when he witness someone cooking horribly and do his best to guide them to be a better cook. He also likes to watching cooking shows, but embarrassed of this and does his best to hide it from others as much as possible.
Dislikes:
Akihiko's Nagging: Shinjiro constantly has to deal with Akihiko's nagging for whatever reason. Although he knows that Aki means well, he finds it rather annoying. This tends to be the reason why Shinjiro likes to tease Akihiko.
Idiot Delinquents: Somehow after choosing to become an outcast, Shinjiro became a delinquent and because of that it gave other delinquents a reason to 'hang out' with him. Normally Shinjiro doesn't care about the ones who just 'hang out' but he hates the ones that pick on weaker people and those who talk trash and does nothing. Even more so when they're stupid enough to try and pick a fight with him, which ends with him breaking their face.
His Persona:: Ever since that incident, Shinjiro has been plagued by nightmare of killing an innocent bystander. He hates this reason so much, that he takes Persona Suppressants that keeps Persona in control, but at life threatening consequences. Because of this, Shinjiro shortens his life span, but he feels that this is necessary in order to keep his Persona in check.
Personality:
Independent and foul-mouthed, Shinjiro usually keeps to himself after the incident where he killed a woman by mistake. He left SEES and chose to find a way to keep his Persona under control and did so with the Persona Suppressants. Even though the Suppressants are dangerous, he doesn't tell anyone of the dangers and chooses to keep his problems to himself.
Because of the tough guy image that he holds, Shinjiro does his best to hide some of his hobbies such as cooking or even just being overly nice. Though his cooking is great and has been praised by those who've tasted it, Shinjiro tends to get embarrassed by this and even more when someone catches him cooking, but when he gets into his zone, he blocks that out and creates his dishes.
Being the smash-mouth he is, Shinjiro would rather break someone's jaw rather than wasting energy trying to negotiate with them to back down and because of that, he has never backed down from a fight and is always willing to get into a brawl, even more so when he has to defend his friends or someone who can't defend themselves. He saved several people from the stupider delinquents before, but he's always scold them for wandering too close to them.
Despite being labeled as a delinquent and his loner personality, Shinjiro is a kind teen that is willing to help his friends as much as he can. But despite his helpful nature, he usually refuses help from others no matter how much he needs it. Because of this, he tends to keep all of his problems to himself, hardly ever letting anyone in on his troubles feeling that it's best if they weren't wrapped up in them.
History:
Shinjiro knew nothing of his parents as he grew up in an orphanage where he met and befriended Akihiko and his sister Miki. Life wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst either as the three managed to get by. However that changed when the orphanage caught on fire and Miki died because it. Seeing on how Akihiko was greatly wounded by the event, he tried his best to support his friend through thick and thin. Which is why when Akihiko joined SEES, Shinjiro joined or rather forced himself into SEES along with his friend.
Before the incident, Shinjiro wanted to help out his friend as much as he could. However the incident had stripped him of his confidence in himself and his ability to control his Persona and chose to isolate himself from everyone he knows and lives life like an outcast. Along the way, he came across a group called Strega which had pills that would suppress his Persona, something that he felt he need and because of that he would schedule monthly meetings to restock his pills of suppressants. Despite making a vow never to join SEES and allow his Persona to go haywire again, Shinjiro rejoined SEES once Akihiko finally managed to convince him to return after mention Ken Amada joined SEES.
Appearance: Shinjiro wears a magenta pea coat no matter what along with a black beanie that keep his long brown hair underneath and wears black pants and brown shoes no matter what time of year.
