No Rest for the Wicked.

[Yosuke/Kou]

A very loud groan echoed throughout the food court as Yosuke Hanamura slumped down into one of the chairs while dropping his tray of food down onto the table in front of him. "Finally, I can rest..." He said slumping back into his chair.

Junes was having yet another rush due to a sale it was holding recently, and since they were low on staff Yosuke was having to pull double shifts, just like most of the employees at Junes right now.

Yosuke hoisted himself back up to begin eating. "Just my luck Teddie will show up now or something..." The brunette mumbled to himself, no doubt tempting fate, it was not like him to normally want to avoid his friends, but right now he just wanted to have some peace.

[Teddie]

Unfortunately for Yosuke, a certain someone with a mop of blonde hair was walking through the food court with his hands in his pockets and apparently sulking.

"I haven't been able to find anyone to play with today..." Teddie muttered to himself sadly. "I'm so bored... I can barely stand it!"

Teddie paused mid-step to think about what he'd just said. True he loved making bear-related puns, but that was completely unintentional even for him. He started chuckling to himself.

"Hehe, that was a good one!" He boasted to nobody in particular, as his bright blue eyes wandered the various tables. He was about to consider just leaving when he spotted Yosuke sitting at a table. "Ah! Hey, Yosuke!"

Without a moment's hesitation, Teddie wove his way through the various tables before stopping on the opposite side of the one Yosuke was seated at, leaning forward with his hands on the table and a massive grin on his face. "Hi Yosuke!"

[Yosuke/Kou]

Yosuke's heart suddenly dropped as he heard a familiar voice calling out his name. Seems he was tempting fate after all. So much for his peace and quiet.

Yosuke looked up from his tray and up at the blond bear stood opposite him. "Oh, hey, Ted... What brings you out here?" The brunette said with a tired looks, already having a pretty good idea what the answer would be. No doubt some variation of "I was bored and couldn't find anyone to play with."

Yosuke had now spent enough time around Teddie to know how he acted. And he knew there would be no peace for him today.

[Teddie]

"Nobody wanted to play with Teddie today..." reported the blonde somewhat sadly before his expression brightened again. "But I'm glad I found you! I wanted to do something new today and you could help!"

Teddie took a step back and struck an overly dramatic pose with his right arm pointed straight up with an extended index finger. "Today... I wanna learn about Video Games!"

The arm dropped and pointed straight at Yosuke. "They have those here at Junes, right?"

[Yosuke/Kou]

At first Yosuke was filled with dread, wondering what Teddie was going to drag him along to do, but he perked right up when he heard what Teddie actually wanted to do.

"Really, well, that's an idea I can get behind." The brunette said standing up with his drink. "And yeah, we have video games here. I'll show you where they are." He said gesturing for Teddie to follow him as he began walking off towards the video games section of the store.

[Teddie]

"Woohoo!" Teddie cheered as he followed Yosuke through the store. "So what are video games? Are they like the board games Nao-chan likes?"

He paused in his questioning momentarily to place his hand on his chin as he continued to follow the brunette. "Didn't you have a video game at your house? I remember you telling me not to mess with it because you thought I'd break it..."

[Yosuke/Kou]

"No, man, video games are a lot better than those board games and puzzles of Naoto's." Yosuke said, thinking back to a particularly embarrassing game of Trivial Pursuit he was roped into playing with Naoto, Souji and Chie.

"And yeah, I do, and come on, man, you are pretty clumsy." The brunette said in reply to the blond's second statement as he stopped in front of a row of video games. "Anyway, here we are."

[Teddie]

Teddie crossed his arms and frowned. "That's not very nice, Yosuke! I'm a very careful bear, I'll have you know!"

The blonde's eyes drifted quickly in the direction of the games once Yosuke pointed them out, and even faster did he become incredibly fascinated by the cover art. "Oh, so that's what these are? I remember seeing them a lot but I thought they were movies like the ones Sensei had!"

He crouched down and continued to scan the games before looking up at Yosuke. "They're all really small. How do they fit all the pieces inside these little boxes?"

[Yosuke/Kou]

"Dude, there aren't pieces or anything in them." Yosuke said looking down at Teddie. "They're only discs or sometimes cartridges that you put into a console. There's no pieces."

The brunette then picked up one of the unsealed boxes nearby before opening it up and showing Teddie the contents. "See?"

[Teddie]

Teddie looked at the disk in the case, then up at Yosuke again. "Teddie doesn't have one of those console thingies. How I am supposed to play the game?"

He turned his eyes towards the nearby accessories and consoles. "Are those the consoles? The one on that box looks like the one at your house. It's all black and shiny."

[Yosuke/Kou]

"Yeah, that's an Xbox 360." Yosuke said putting the game back on the shelf behind him and looking over at the consoles as well. "And you can just use the one at my house. 'Cause I'll bet they're just a little bit out of your price range."

[Teddie]

"Oh, okay. Thanks Yosuke!" said Teddie with a grin as he looked back at the selection of games. "Wah... there's so many I'm not sure where to start..."

He silently scanned the shelves for a moment, then he grabbed one particular game and stood up.

"Have you ever played this one before?" Teddie asked, showing the game to Yosuke. It was a copy of Tales of Vesperia.

[Yosuke/Kou]

Yosuke looked at the game in Teddie's hand and rubbed the back of his head. "Well, I've heard of it, but I've never played it before." The brunette said, only having a passing knowledge of the Tales series of games.

"What makes you wanna play that one?" Yosuke asked, curious as to why Teddie had been drawn to that game in particular.

[Teddie]

"The guy in the picture looks like Teddie!" proclaimed the bear, pointing at one of the characters on the cover. "Don't cha think Yosuke?"

Teddie turned the case back around to look at the front of it. "I wonder if Kanji could make a costume like that..."

[Yosuke/Kou]

"Yeah, he kinda does actually..." Yosuke said looking at the character in question and then at Teddie.

"But you kinda picked a version that won't work on my console." Yosuke said pointing to the area of the box which stated it was a Playstation game. "You need to pick a game for the Xbox."
